This, from a review placed by someone on the Wedding Wire Website about The Farm at Ridgeway; “My Wife fell in love with this venue from the moment we drove into their gates. This is the perfect example of what comes to mind when I hear the word rustic wedding. The ability to make your celebration an indoor or outdoor event with little to no hassle is perfect for those wondering about a plan B in case of weather.”

Such was the setting in this rural Ridgeway, SC location that’s “As close to convenience, as it is to privacy, peace, and quiet.”  The event itself was coordinated and planned by the Brides Mother, Barbara Jaco. The event was everything Katherine, the Bride, could ever hope for. We had the pleasure of being invited to assist with lighting and effects. Of course, when working with the other professionals brought in, it made our job much easier. That cast of pros is as follows:

Wedding Cake – Bonnie Brunt | Florist – American Floral | Ceremony Music – Columbia Strings | Valet Services – Southern Valet |

Catering – Southern Way Catering | Bartending – Black Tie Bartending | DJ – Partytime DJ’s (Tony Signorino)

The lighting effects were as follows:

  • CEREMONY:
Alter and seating area lighting (4 fres, 2 stands)
  • RECEPTION:
Uplighting on perimeter walls (LED white)
Cafe Style Stringers swagged throughout ceiling of barn
White sheer fabric swags with mini string lights on inside walls (to the left and right of doorway) at
    entrance only
White Sheer drape L&R, and mini string lights (non-linear dispersion) for front entry
White Sheer 10′ x 12′ drape with mini-string lights and valance (non-linear dispersion) at cake
    table
    Spotlighting for cake table
    Spotlighting for food tables
