The Free Times Publication in Columbia SC is known for keeping the community up to date on news, concerts, movies, restaurants and events in Columbia, SC. But, they are also known for throwing some incredible themed parties! If you haven’t been to a Free Times party yet, you are certainly missing out. These parties are open to the public and you can easily purchase tickets on their website for the next big event.
The most recent Free Times party was a themed Tacos, Tequila, and Tacky Sweaters Party at 701 Whaley where ticket holders enjoyed unlimited tacos and margaritas, open bar, live music and a DJ dance hour! There were custom margaritas featuring Corralejo tequila, Jose Cuervo Tradicionale 100% agave tequila, and Lunazul 100% agave tequila. Sangrias featuring Sacred Bond Bib brandy. A Premium tequila tasting featuring Casa Noble Crystal, Reposado and Anejo tequilas. They served Tecate and DOS XX aslo. The Taco line-up was INCREDIBLE and featured bites from Cantina 76, Sure Fire Taco Shop, River Rat Brewery, Tacos Nayarit, Churro House and Real Mexico. The Dance Party featured DJ Dherick Jacobs and Live music was provided by Glow Co. They even had a “nightcap” drink by Night Train Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur.
