10/11/2014: The “BIG EASY” come to Columbia, SC. I personally have never been to New Orleans, but that doesn’t mean we can bring New Orleans to Columbia, SC. In this Wedding for the Bride, Gail Grant, and the Groom Robert Coleman, we did just that. Of course, we had the profession vendors we worked alongside like; PR Exposition, and the live Soulful Jazz entertainment by Mike Stone and the Kritikal Band. The lighting effects were as follows:
- PRE-FUNCTION AREA:
White Sateen Drape w/ uplighting for entrance, 14′ tall
Street sign post (street names TBD)
- RECEPTION AREA:
Uplighting for perimeter walls (light pink)
Cafe Style Stringers swagged throughout ceiling (70′ w/ dim control)
Cafe Style Stringers above head-table (50′ w/ dim control)
Crystal Columns (20′ x 3′) rotating w/uplighting at center entrance to reception
Pin-spot lighting for centerpieces, florals, and street signs
Fabric swag with cafe style lights above head table (100′ Champagne Mystique satin, 100′ w/dim control)
Video images projected onto the white ceiling above dance floor (Pink Cancer Ribbon, Fat Catz sign, Bourbon Street images, etc.
Floor lamps for food stations
Table lamps for bars
Globe lamp post w/dim control
Street signpost
Gaff Tape for road lines (1500′ yellow and white)
Black carpet for streets, 10′ wide, 600′
