As I look at the photos from this event, I was taken aback in awe of the design and creativity of the vendors that work so hard to create an event that is magical in all respects. Orchestrated by the ever talented Cricket Newman Designs, this event was located on the grounds of the historic Hampton Preston Mansion.

As you see in the image gallery, the Pros brought in by Cricket are so talented! We love working alongside them as we know we can count on them to help us look so much better with what we bring to the table. Here’s the breakdown on who they were:

The lighting effects were as follows:
- CEREMONY AT ROBERT MILLS HOUSE:
Sound system with technician, incl: 2 speakers & mixer, 2 wireless lav mics for officiants, 1 wireless
lav mic for the groom, 4 mics for Dick Goodwin quartet (cello, violin, flute/clarinet), 4 condenser mics for
handbells
- RECEPTION AT HAMPTON PRESTON MANSION / HOUSE & GROUNDS:
Uplighting on house (front porch walls medium amber, all other walls & columns light amber)
Gel filters to control the intensity of house floodlights on the ground
Uplighting on trees, either side of the tent (medium amber)
- RECEPTION AT HAMPTON PRESTON MANSION / 80×160 TENT:
Uplighting for columns/facade at end of the tent
Mini string light ceiling treatment, 3 strands per bay (30 total strands, ~2500′)
Spotlights for the Cake table
Spotlights for 2 mahogany bar back shelves
Spotlights for food service tables (approx)
Spotlights for florals above 4 communal tables
Hang/secure 4 large floral displays (provided by CND) above communal tables
Hang/secure custom ‘FLW’ screen shade (provided by CND) above “She”

Spotlight sculpture at the center table (using Leko to control light spill)
Dimming, control, and power distribution for tent lighting; provide additional extensions/outlets
as needed; assist PR with power distribution for catering, band, restroom, etc.
